Biography

Non-Equity Partner and Sub-Director of the Litigation Department at CN&R, responsible for overseeing all local civil litigation, he joined the firm in 2000. Was admitted to the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico bar in 1998, to the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit in 1999 and to the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico in 1999. In 1998 Mr. González-Soler began his career handling cases involving personal injury, product liability and insurance coverage matters. He joined the Firm’s Litigation Department in 2000 and has since handled multiple complex civil, contractual and commercial litigation cases for clients such as Nationwide Insurance, CAICO, A. Cordero Badillo, Inc., Caribe.Net, Matrix Internet Corporation, Caribe Physicians Plaza Corporation, Fajardo Group, Inc., Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority, April Group, Inc. and D Group, among others. Mr. González-Soler has also handled complex contractual disputes between health insurers and health are services providers concerning participation in the Puerto Rico governmental health insurance program (Puerto Rico Law 72 of September 7, 1993), and multiple cases involving torts, medical malpractice, foreclosures and collections, among others. Graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee WI (Class of 1994) with a degree in psychology, he received his Juris Doctor from Eugenio María de Hostos School of Law in Mayaguez, PR. (1997).
