Biography

Non-Equity Partner, focusing his practice in general litigation in Federal and Commonwealth Courts, mainly in Civil, Commercial and Contractual Litigation and Bankruptcy matters. He has practiced extensively in the areas of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), real estate, shopping center law, insurance law, products liability and medical malpractice litigation. Among his published opinions are: Puerto Rico Freight System v. Corporación para el Desarrollo de las Exportaciones, 2012 TSPR 158 and Infante Robles v. Maeso Hernández, 2005 TSPR 18. Mr. Valderrábano-Marina is a member of the Puerto Rico Bar and is authorized to practice before the United States Court of Appeals, First Circuit, and the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. Has a B.S. from Northeastern University (1984) and a J.D. Cum Laude from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law (1989).
